These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of bilcasaccounting.com and any related pages (the “Website”) operated by Bilcas Accounting Solutions (“Bilcas,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
At a glance
- Using the Website or requesting an assessment does not make you a client. A signed scope of work does.
- Website content is general information, not tax, legal, audit or investment advice.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the records you provide and for your business decisions.
- Prices shown on the Website are illustrative. Your final price is set in your written scope.
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use the Website or engage our services. If you use the Website on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that business.
Our services
Bilcas provides bookkeeping and accounting-support services, including financial operations setup, accounting software setup and conversion, chart of accounts optimization, historical accounting reconstruction, bookkeeping cleanup and remediation, bank, card and merchant reconciliation, ongoing record management, management reporting, and complex business bookkeeping.
The Website describes these services in general terms. The scope, deliverables, timing, pricing and required records for your engagement are set out in a separate written scope of work or client agreement.
Scopes of work and client agreements
No client relationship is created by browsing the Website, emailing or calling us, requesting an assessment, or submitting a form. A client relationship begins only when both parties sign a written scope of work or client agreement.
If your written scope conflicts with these Terms, the written scope controls for the services it covers.
Nature of our services
Unless your written scope expressly states otherwise and the work is performed by appropriately licensed professionals, our services do not include tax preparation or tax advice, audit, review or attestation services, legal advice, CPA services, or investment advice.
Articles, FAQs and other Website content are provided for general information only. They are not advice for your specific situation, and you should not act on them without guidance tailored to your circumstances.
Pricing and estimates
Price ranges shown on the Website are illustrative. They are not quotes and are not charged automatically. Final pricing depends on the agreed scope, the number of accounts, entities and periods involved, transaction volume, the condition of your records, and the deliverables documented in your agreement.
If the work turns out to be larger than scoped, for example because additional accounts or periods are discovered, we will agree any change with you in writing before billing for the additional work.
Your responsibilities as a client
Accurate books depend on accurate information. When you engage us, you agree to:
- Provide complete, accurate and timely records, statements and explanations.
- Grant the account and software access needed to complete the work.
- Tell us promptly about changes in your business that affect your records.
- Review the deliverables we provide and raise any questions or errors you notice.
- Keep responsibility for your financial statements, internal controls, tax filings and business decisions.
Unless your written scope says otherwise, we rely on the information you give us and do not audit or independently verify it.
No guaranteed outcomes
We work carefully to produce accurate records, but we cannot guarantee any particular result, including tax outcomes, loan or financing approval, investor decisions, or business performance. Examples and client comments on the Website describe past experiences and are not a promise of future results.
Fees and payment
- Fees are set out in your written scope or on your invoice.
- Invoices are due on the date shown on the invoice.
- Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. We do not store full card numbers.
- We may pause work on accounts with overdue balances after giving you written notice.
- Unless stated otherwise, prices exclude any applicable taxes, which are your responsibility.
- We may change published prices at any time. Changes do not affect fees already agreed in a signed scope.
Refunds and cancellations
Refunds, cancellations and the return of your records are covered by our Refund & Return Policy and by your written scope.
Confidentiality and privacy
We treat client financial information as confidential. How we collect, use, protect and share personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
Accounting software and account access
We may work inside third-party accounting software or secure file-sharing tools on your behalf. You are responsible for keeping your own login credentials confidential and for activity under your accounts. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
Third-party software is provided under that provider’s own terms. We are not responsible for outages, data loss or changes caused by a third-party provider.
Intellectual property
The Website and its content, including text, graphics, logos, icons and page design, belong to Bilcas or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy, republish, modify or distribute Website content without our written permission.
Your business records remain yours. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of your data to us.

Disclaimer of warranties
The Website is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties about the Website, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy and uninterrupted availability. Any warranties that apply to paid services are set out in your written scope.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bilcas and its owners, employees and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of the Website.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the Website is limited to one hundred US dollars (US$100). Liability relating to paid services is governed by your written scope. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bilcas and its owners, employees and contractors from claims, losses and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from your misuse of the Website, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to these Terms will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

- Severability. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
- Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our linked policies, are the entire agreement about your use of the Website. Paid services are also governed by your written scope.
- No waiver. Not enforcing a provision does not waive our right to enforce it later.
- Assignment. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our written consent.
Changes to the Website and these Terms
We may update, suspend or remove any part of the Website at any time, including for maintenance. We may also revise these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows the current version, and continuing to use the Website after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.
